Spiritual

At Summerfield the spiritual development of pupils is shown by their:

  • ability to be reflective about their own beliefs, religious or otherwise and their ability to show respect for different people’s faiths, feelings and values
  •  learn about themselves, others and the world around them
  •  use imagination and creativity in their learning

We develop this through PSHE/SMSC lessons, visiting different places of worship, drawing on staff and children’s own faiths and developing their imagination and creativity through art, music, media and English lessons.
